We are specialists in the complete process of designing, building and testing power electronic converters. We work with our customers to identify their needs, develop solutions to their problems and provide detailed evaluation of the product. We have experience in the design, prototyping and test of:
Compact regenerative brushless DC motor drive (1 kW, air cooled, soldered heat sinks for easier mass production)
Mains connected power supplies in the range of a few Watts and upwards
On-board Uninterruptible power supply
Ultra low power processing circuits for energy harvesting circuits with very low quiescent power consumption
Battery charging circuits and gas gauges
Bi-directional 500 kW unity power factor grid interface with a 1.5 kV continuous rated DC bus, using SiC modules
100 kHz, 100 kW inverters
We have expertise in conventional Si power devices and in SiC and GaN. We have developed a standard control platform, using a SOC, that can read many sensors over fibre, and control up to 12 half bridges independently. We are experienced with both PCB level power electronics and cabinet size converters.
